A seed of hope in the Namib Desert

Growing food. Sharing skills. Strengthening communities.

Hanan Green Acres is developing a practical Environmental Centre where children, families and community leaders learn to grow food, conserve water and build resilient gardens.

Why Hanan matters

Practical knowledge grows beyond one garden

A child discovers how soil, water and a seed can become food. A household gains the confidence to start a garden. A community becomes more resilient and less dependent.

Food parcels help today. Food-growing skills can help a family again and again.

Our programme

From a productive garden to a learning campus
